Utsav Means Celebration
UTSAV 2026 is an immersive cultural event celebrating the vibrancy of Indian heritage through art, food, music, textiles, and community connection.
UTSAV is an immersive cultural celebration bringing the colors, flavors and traditions of India to the heart of Miami through dance, music, art, food, textiles and community connection.
Presented by the Miami Association of Indian Americans for Culture and Arts (MAIACA), UTSAV welcomes people of all backgrounds to experience the richness and diversity of Indian heritage.
Our 2026 celebration took place at Miami Dade College's Wolfson Campus in Downtown Miami.
UTSAV Miami 2026 opened with a traditional ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the triumph of light over darkness and knowledge over ignorance. We were honored to welcome Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine Cava for this meaningful occasion. The celebration also featured a special keynote address by Priya Alavadi, Mrs. Universe, highlighting the importance of cultural heritage, community and connection. Together, these moments set the tone for a day celebrating the richness and diversity of Indian culture in Miami. Thank you to our community partners, performers, vendors, volunteers and everyone who made this year's event possible.
Looking Ahead to UTSAV 2027
We look forward to future celebrations! The date and venue for UTSAV 2027 are currently to be determined. We welcome expressions of interest from dance schools, vendors, sponsors and community partners.
